Branches without roots cannot grow

A dream is a seed.
Courage and challenge are the soil that makes that seed sprout,
and daily practice is the water that makes it grow.

Water poured on ground where no seed was planted will not make it sprout.
Without water, roots cannot take hold, and
if branches try to spread before roots have even established themselves,
they will never grow for long.

Our lives are the same.

Effort without the essence of a dream easily loses its way,
and prayer without 'roots' of faith,
however earnest it may be, remains a phantom that cannot extend outward.

So let's first plant a dream in our hearts.
Believe in that dream, and find the courage to challenge.
Through daily practice, let's establish the roots of faith deeply.

A tree with deep roots does not sway easily,
and above it, branches of prayer and hope stretch higher and farther.

At last, that dream rooted in deep faith
will blossom with beautiful flowers and bear abundant fruit.
